The Living Signal — a design system for Anymas Kinetics Inc.
"anymas — a house of souls that moves with purpose — builds vytal, the living signal."
The core tension we own
Vytal is the most human word there is — vital, alive, pulse-confirmed — machined with a "y," the way an engineer would respell it on a schematic. Anymas descends from the Latin anima — breath, spirit, the animating force that makes a thing alive; in Spanish, ánimas means souls. Paired with Kinetics, the name describes exactly what the company builds: intent set in motion, systems with a soul behind them.
The spelling is deliberate. The "y" folds in a second word, anonymous — privacy isn't a feature bolted on, it's in the name the way it's in the architecture. So the pairing reads as a complete sentence: Anymas (the mind, the intent, the guarded self) builds Vytal (the living signal). Anymas Kinetics is a house of souls that moves with purpose — what's private stays private, in service of you alone.
Emotional, sensory, on every screen and campaign. This is the voice the world meets.
Appears only in Ledger contexts — hardware etchings, spec tables, legal lines, packaging spines. Set exclusively in mono. It never markets; it certifies: "AN ANYMAS KINETICS INSTRUMENT."
Calm surface, live current.
Everything we make looks composed, almost still — and feels charged, like a machine that noticed you walk into the room. Every design decision either serves the calm or serves the current. Nothing serves neither.
Positioning — the future of human-tech connectivity: a living signal built like an instrument and lit like a night studio.
Who it's for — people who train seriously, live with technology intimately, and are allergic to both bro-fitness and startup cuteness. They read hardware teardowns and book recovery sessions.
Calibrated, labeled, legible — lab equipment you'd want to touch.
Data is never abstract; always mapped back to a body, a breath, a pulse.
Darkness is not a dark mode — it is home. Light mode is the guest.
We show internals — of hardware, of data, of process.
95% of every surface is quiet. The remaining 5% carries all the electricity.
The body's data is anonymized, on-device where possible, never a product. Privacy is load-bearing brand identity, not a settings page — see the Vault.
Every review, every crit, every asset gets held against these.
Energy is expressed through readiness, not activity. No ambient busyness, no idle decoration.
Frosted layers, cutaways, exposed pipelines. Nothing is a black box — even when it's literally black.
Labeled, versioned, aligned to grid. If a label carries no information, it doesn't ship.
Breath, pulse, reflex, fatigue. No bounces, no springs, no confetti.
Every screen is allowed exactly one moment of controlled strangeness. It's powerful because everything around it is disciplined.
The final test: does it look calm from across the room and feel alive from thirty centimeters?
Two worlds: the Studio (the environment) and the Body (the organism inside it). Neutrals are warm-desaturated, never blue.
The Studio — primary neutrals
The Body — accents
Semantic — state colors
Usage economy
Display is stamped metal. Body disappears into legibility. Mono is instrumentation. The Breath is the one human whisper — at most once per composition.
Radii — 2 / 8 / 16 / 999, nothing else
Four metaphors. If a motion can't be assigned to one of these, it's cut.

Data sovereignty gets instrument treatment, not legalese. A permanent Ledger line lives in settings and the pairing ritual — with a live indicator of exactly what leaves the device. Anonymization is shown, not asserted: identity fields dissolve to hashes in the frost/demist language. Privacy states wear vytal green — being unknown to us is a healthy state.
Iconography — schematic, not pictographic
